Cute graphics! I included it in my Sim Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
Excellent submission, perfectly fitting both the jam and its theme, I got a little nervous at the start because I thought i was only controlling one side, but then I realized that I could grab both and that no side would wipe the other, which makes it even better in my eyes.
Is there a difference between both resources?

There isn't really a difference in the resources yet other than where they are mined from. I'm planning on adding that in for an update, I just didn't have time to balance the differences in the jam time.
You're welcome, thank you for your work! I completely get the time constraints, I was wondering if mineral gave a weapon edge while food gave a population boost for example, and it wasn't entirely clear just from the frantic gameplay.
Nice little simulation! It seems to be impossible to completely destroy a settlement, since the villagers keep spawning even with 0 resources. Not that it’s a bad thing. ;-)
I found an amusing bug, if you throw a villager in a certain way, he will keep spinning on the orbit forever. :-D
