Solid game! Got to wave 16 :)
I love the upgrade system, and the gameplay itself felt nice and smooth.
I do wish it had more to do with the "Decay" theme.
Overall though, it was a fun experience!

Nice Ugg I messed up an upgrade opportunity 😅. Had lot of fun reminded me of a few games, it was hard to tell where I was facing while running. More SFX (I love the pew pew in game) and different level obstacles would add a good challenge I can see this being a full game. Great work.
I managed to make it to wave 11 before dying, I eventually got cornered and had no place that I could run to anymore. Anyway, this is a pretty decent start to a game. You should experiment with adding a lot more game juice such as shooting effects, particle effects, animations, bullet variations and sizes, post-processing, etc. A secondary movement ability such as a dash, a grapple, or a teleport could go a long way in making the movement feel more involved too. The shop upgrades were nice, but I think the health and shield upgrades were a bit too expensive to reliably go for. Damage output is extremely important for staying alive in the other waves.
The aside, this is still well made, good work :)
Got to wave 17! Cool simple project that was fun for a while. It's nice that it gets harder overtime and there are some upgrades you can get.
My favorite minimal style! Nice simple game but lacking of polished feeling. Need some particles on enemies' death, bigger projectiles, a little screen shake on shoot. Coins magnet would also nice addition!
Got to level 10, it was relatively fun even with the simplistick graphics. You could easily tell what which kind of cube does, which is nice.
The attack bullets could be bigger, they dont have much impact this way.
Sound affects were simple but servisible.
The shop was nice, but it didnt have a lot of variety.
Most importantly, dont force the player to pick up coins manualy, have them get magnetized to him at the end of the wawe, otherwise you are just waysting his time >v<
