I like the puzzle mechanic idea of this game a lot, and it was satisfying to get to the second level, but once I had to figure out a way across the fast-moving platform I admit I was too stuck and unsure about how to progress, and dwindled my lives away trying to figure it out.

that's actually a good idea, it needs a little debugging here and there (in my case, I couldn't jump sometimes in slopes, along with the other bugs reported). It has a lot of potential for a puzzle platform game, but I feel it need mechanisms for the player to correct their missteps

Interesting concept! I have to admit that I'm not sure what I wasn't supposed to press, or what my ultimate goal really was - I didn't get very far as the controls became a bit frustrating when I reached the second level where that one piece is zipping back and forth. But I really like the idea of 'building the level' using your own characters as the pieces - I don't think I've seen anything like that before!

It was very nice, I think the beginning could have had some directions and if I stayed in the lava my life span didn't decrease, but other than those two hiccups it was a really cool game. I also liked the character.

I had a lot of fun with this! Loved the simple aesthetics and music, clever idea for a game jam, great work!

thank you so much <3

FOR ANYONE WHO START THE GAME, I SET THE PLAYER SPAWN NOT AT THE BEGINNING,SO YOU WILL NOT START SEEING THE TUTORIAL, SO HERE'S HOW TO PLAY

A & D to move, SPACE to jump and SHIFT to do some magic

I like the look and feel of the game.  It was pretty confusing at the start, but once I figured it out it was fun!  Found a small bug where if you respawn above the first pink vertical enemy, it continues to do damage to the previous player (found while using the rectangle).

Developer

i'm glad you appreciated it and thanks for the feedback

I like the game. I like changing the shapes, but I had no idea how to change for a while. There are some bugs that can make the experience difficult. I had changed a shape multiple times in the spawn area and got stuck in the middle of all the shapes. This is cool. Great work!

Developer(+1)

thanks for the suggestion, really glad you enjoy it <3

the multiple spawn problem is still a problem to resolve for me tho, gonna figure it out with time

Alright, I got it figured out. I had a blast with this game! iIdidn't quite know what to do after a while, but a fantastic mechanic!

Developer

so happy to read this, the level design is still a mess ahahahahaa

Reaallly love the idea here! The player spawn was wrong so I couldn't read the tutorial, but once I figured out it was fun to try and progress! Loved the menus and the aesthetics. Good job!

Developer

thanks <3,

about the player spawn point was my fault cause before building it i was testing the checkpoint feature, but at the end i didn't put the player at the beginning of the game

Oooh i see it, i was about to say why does it say "dont press it" if you have to, but i read the description, i liked the art and music, i dindt know what to do at the begginig, i didnt even see the text in the background the first time, but its a good starting for your game:D

Developer

happy you like it, but as i read i must be more clear in game, thanks for the advice

I think the idea of break the rule is great, I just probably change a bit the transparency of the text, but just a bit

This is a very cool idea! It's quite difficult at the moment but you can definitely see the potential here. The music and the minimalistic style works well together and I like how the differen "charactes" handle a bit differently.  :)

However I could not initially figure out how to progress since no where that I saw was it mentioned that you could press shift to respawn. So for any future players the "cooldown" in the topright corner is for the "respawn" mechanic that you trigger by pressing LEFT SHIFT :P

One suggestions if you choose to keep working a bit on the concept.

Developer

it mention it at the "beginning" of the game, but as a stupid i set the wrong spawn position for the player

thanks for the suggestion i will probably keep working on <3
