I am extremely impressed with this. It feels very much like a frenetic Commodore 64 game to me, it's giving me some powerful nostalgia! It's such a simple concept but it's executed in a way that perfectly rides the edge of 'fun' and 'frustrating.' That feeling of having to trust the game to perform the actions for you is very interesting, I don't think I've ever actually had a game give me that sensation before!
Very hard but a neat little game, I really liked how you used the theme :)
The color palette and music somehow fit well together! Really liked the difficulty after getting used to the controls, it’s got that just one more go feel to it. As Greenbeengizmo mentioned though, might want to start off a bit slow but it’s pretty cool to see a game with music, parallax scrolling and working mechanics!
It's quite difficult but still fun with a cool style. I would suggest having the platforms/enemies starting off a little slower and build up to the high difficulty.
Good game, nice work with the mechanics they are really fun, and the aesthetic is quite pleaseant. I am quite uncoordinated so i found quite hard to accomodate to the keys maybe setting a more common key pattern would help with the difficulty, but really awesome work!
Nice UI and music. It's a fun game but quite difficult. Adding a difficulty level can make it more enjoyable.
The camera goes a bit fast. Between that and the key, its a bit difficult to keep a hang of it. But it has potential! Good game!
Nice game:) I think you need to adjust the difficulty level, you can start off the game with slow speed and increase the speed as game progresses.
I really like the idea, but imho I think that keeping track of the terrain and the enemies and the rule, all that in a fast pace it's too much (for me at least), I'd suggest to start easy and make it harder as the game progresses, either speeding it up or adding keys one at a time (eg starting with A and S, then add D, and finally F).
I see what you did with the name of the game. I also liked the aesthetics, specially the color palette, very retro like
You know, i kinda like dark souls for its difficulty, and i thinks this game its a bit of that, let me explain what you have to do:
Keep pressed A to keep running, if not you will get outside of the screen and thats a game over
press B once to jump (there is a doble jump)
Press D to crouch and avoid obstacles
Press F to shoot and kill the enemies
But Dont press the key selected that appears at the top of the screen and that changes over time
I really loved the concept and the aesthetics, but when I try to play the screen keeps outrunning my character no matter what I do; I can never see the character. I am not able to play at all, but would love to play it properly :)
