The hand drawn assets are excellent! I did experience a bug where the human on the first floor bugged into a corner, but otherwise, great game all around! Good job! :)

Thank you!! I caught that bug a few hours before we finished and I thought I had fixed it ;~;

The presentation is really great. I like how there are multiple difficulties (I haven't tried super sneaker yet). I also only use Jingles for the entire game. The distraction is just not worth it. The gameplay is challenging, but not to the point of frustration. And the game fit the cozy winter theme well. Really great game.

Thanks :)

I did worry that it was too easy to not use Kix, but we erred on the side of making it too easy rather than too hard! I think if there were some more stationary enemies it would have been more useful, maybe.

The hand drawn art style is quite nice.

The whole game have the whole Christmas vibe to it (duh, this is a winter jam)

But I think the Christmas vibe here is more apparent here than most other game. (idk if this make sense)

This is a stealth game where you will use 2 bugs to help each other get all item to create Christmas tree. It is a nice concept.

The game is quite challenging, but fun, (I played on Super sneaker)

Though, I only use one bug, and it's the Jingles (the fast one) I felt like the distraction is simply not worth it, the bug that can distract simple walk too slow, and I could easily just use the fast one to bait the enemy then use the hole to escape because the fast one is faster than the enemy anyway.

Thanks for playing!! I'm glad it was fun if on the easier side haha

I would loved to have spent more time tuning the difficulty, but we wanted to make sure it wasn't too hard since we didn't have time to get anyone else to playtest really. We considered putting a stationary enemy on the second floor watching the tree so that you would need to use a distraction, but it was too late to implement anything like that.

I loved your art style, this game looked SUPER polished for a game jam game.  Great entry, great game.

Thank you! I will have to make sure our artist sees all the praise for their work :)

Huge fan of the game, the visuals are really lovely, especially the beetles christmassy design I love it.

But the gameplay aspect is really great too ! The difficulty is just right to make the game rewarding and challenging without being too hard neither. The music is also lovely and overall it perfectly fits in the jam themes.

Like somebody said before, I just had a bit of troubles when using the pathfinding mechanic sometimes. But it's really not a deal breaker in any way :))

My personal favorite of the game so far !

This is a really cute concept, and I love the art style and the use of tunnels to move between areas in the map. I felt like the difficulty was just right, also, because I was able to beat the game on my second attempt, but it was tricky to get around the human and the cat and I had some close calls.

Unfortunately I found the pathfinding mechanic unusable; if I drew a path from the start zone to the tunnel out to the house, when the house map appeared, a path automatically set to the last point I had clicked in the start room. This forced the beetle into a wall and I couldn't cancel the action, so I kept getting caught. When I stopped trying to use the pathfinding and just used WASD, gameplay was smooth and as expected.

Because of the issue above I had to reload many times, and I also noticed there were some issues with the music. Sometimes when I launched the game it played normally, and other times it had major stutter/quality issues. Refreshing the page and relaunching the game once or twice seemed to fix this.

Overall, ultimately minor issues for an otherwise amazingly executed game. Great work!

Thanks for playing!! I'm glad you felt like the difficulty was good, we spent the last few hours tuning it and were a little worried!

The pathfinding action should be canceled once you click WASD - which I realize now we never explained to the player, haha. I'll add it to the description at least.

That seems so simple, but I guess I didn't try it! I'm sure it will help someone else out to know it :D

Great game, The strategy plays a big role here. it's stressful but exciting, and it fits the theme very well.

I had so much fun playing it and won on the second try. It was a really good game. 5 stars in all categories.

Nice and cozy ! Quite hard and a bit stressful when the cat spots you ^^
