Fun lil arcade game, had no issues at all that I could find! Got 102 carrots :)

Fun lil platformer, the pixel art looks nice and the jumps feel good.

The only issue I really had was that you can very easily get kind of stuck in the wall hitbox (which you can then jump out of, sometimes), which leads to some very strange behavior. I'm not sure if this was intended or not, honestly.

I kind of wish the fluffy guys didn't turn into dots when in the level, since they're cuter otherwise!

Pretty fun! The only change I would really like to see is for snowballs dropped on spikes to be a little higher up - currently they're basically on the same y level as the spike hitbox which can make them needlessly precise to jump off of. I like the mechanics a lot though!

Thanks :)

I did worry that it was too easy to not use Kix, but we erred on the side of making it too easy rather than too hard! I think if there were some more stationary enemies it would have been more useful, maybe.

Thank you! I will have to make sure our artist sees all the praise for their work :)

Thanks for playing!! I'm glad it was fun if on the easier side haha

I would loved to have spent more time tuning the difficulty, but we wanted to make sure it wasn't too hard since we didn't have time to get anyone else to playtest really. We considered putting a stationary enemy on the second floor watching the tree so that you would need to use a distraction, but it was too late to implement anything like that.

Thank you!! I caught that bug a few hours before we finished and I thought I had fixed it ;~;

Absolutely stunning visuals, I definitely got caught up in the mood!! Really interested in where you go with this!

This is such a fun way of interpreting "Better Together" - I didn't expect to see a rendition of Beautiful Katamari haha. It feels really smooth to play, and I love that you managed to incorporate the objects that you pick up adding to your hitbox . I do kind of wish they stayed permanently attached to your hitbox, since it seems like they only do briefly after you first pick them up, but I imagine that would have caused a lot of headaches when designing and debugging for a game jam.

I did get suddenly restarted twice and I'm not really sure why it happened - the first time I was near the edge of the map, so I thought I might have run into a bound without noticing, but the second time I was nowhere near. Is there a hidden timer or some other lose condition I didn't pick up on?

I also love the menu a lot :)

The mechanics here are all pretty solid and I think you could do a lot with them! The movement felt a little off to me, especially trying to precisely control jumps when you get sped up. I didn't realize you could climb/walljump until I read these comments either. Overall enjoyed it and made it to the end :)

Thanks for playing!! I'm glad you felt like the difficulty was good, we spent the last few hours tuning it and were a little worried!

The pathfinding action should be canceled once you click WASD - which I realize now we never explained to the player, haha. I'll add it to the description at least.

Love the aesthetic a lot, perfectly got me in the groove for rolling snowballs! I'm glad snowman king is proud of me

If I could add anything, I wish that you could combine different color snowballs to make snowmen with different top/bottom colors - plus then you could have snowballs be any random color without it being a problem!

The snowballs are a really fun central mechanic and I enjoyed using them, though some of the platforming was very difficult for me or inconsistent, since your current velocity heavily impacts your additional snowball jumps. I love the art and music, great cozy vibes.

Very impressed that you managed to put this together with so many people and not have it feel like a jumbled mess!

I did get stuck on the first screen with blue snowballs because I had no way of getting up to the fire so that I could die, and the level was unwinnable because I had used them. A reset button would have been really nice!

The game's atmosphere is just perfectly cozy, with adorable textures and cute dialogue!

Thank you!! All of the art was done by our friend Lykidae during the jam :)

The team credits are in the main menu and I forgot to add them to the actual game page, it's been fixed! Incompetech is credited for background music.
