This was a fun card game to play and your tiles did a good job of trying to capture the theme of the jam. Like others, I found the How to Play text very hard to read, but was able to jump in and figure it out as I went. I agree with other comments, the Robin became an easy foe once I figured it out, but I thought it was a clever "enemy" choice for the game and it worked well as a concept. Nice work!
I enjoyed this very much both times I played thru.
Minor nitpicks
BTW. not sure how good/bad that is, but my better score was 447.
Hey hey, thank you for your detailed feedback! The slowing down of the game is puzzling me, but I will get to the bottom of this!
Apart from that, my personal best score was 430 (-ish), so you bested me! Good job :)
I was running it on respectable specs too (ryzen 3600x + RX590).
IIRC the slowdown was proportional to the number of cards on the board, I can try to repro that if you want.
Thats really weird, I've tried it on a few different machines and never had this problem.
Maybe I messed something up during exporting.
Thanks for the heads-up!
I adore people who understand and enjoy card-style games, can't get behind it myself often times. But always enjoy trying them out just to see. I can definitely notice that you put a lot of work into it. I also like the detail of the cloud shader.
I was a bit confused as to what the goal of the game is. A high score, yes, but there's no real "enemy" (other than the bird which didn't really appear for me in 5 minutes of playing). Maybe there is a deeper point to the game, but as a non-card game player I have a hard time finding out what :D Nevertheless I like the style and feel like with more time you could probably make some really decent games!
Ah yes I totally see where you are coming from. I played a lot of Dorfromantik lately (a tile based card game), which does not have a real goal either other than getting the highest score possible, so I thought I could get away with it as well :) I just wanted it to be very chill without putting too much pressure on the player, so I made the robin way less aggressive than originally intended.
next time I'll try to come up with a more engaging solution.
thank you for playing and for your helpful feedback!
Hah, knew it! I really noticed the inspiration of Dorfromantik. The appeal of Dorfromantik is that it's a very visual experience, you can see everything move and grow. Meanwhile in a not-so visual game like this I think it's better to focus on strategy. It's not very entertaining to look at blank cards, so it'd be good to have something for the brain to do.
Cheers! And good luck your future endeavors
im sorry to leave such a negative review but the text was so small and unreadable i just couldnt play the game. wish i could it looks interesting

Ah no worries, I am here for the feedback!
Writing extremely small is a bad habit of mine, I'll definetely keep that in mind for future projects.
Are you specifically talking about the Instruction-manual ingame? If that is the case, the very same text can be found on the games page, so you can read all about it there (in way bigger font). Hopefully that helps.
thx for playing
I really like the game it reminds me of Tetris for some reason. I like the graphics they are very appealing. Well Done!
thank you very much fellow jammer :D
