  • The visuals are stunning and the modeling on the arachnodroid is really impressive! The game is fun and I like the mechanic of dashing on the beat for a reset as well as a great soundtrack! I would say that there should be clearer windows on when you have an opportunity to strike instead of spamming bullets through the enemy wave to get some hits in for a more engaging experience. --- This game LOOKS AMAZING, and I really like the mechanic of the dashes resetting when you do it in time with the music. (I also love Just Shapes and Beats!) The music is also fantastic, I'm really impressed that you made all this. I would love to see future levels of this with more combat mechanics/ways to attack! --- 31/40

This one was a blast. I like bullet hells for the challenges they present. The big spider robot was super cool looking. I also love all the bullet and explosion effects. The controls also feel very good. Had a great time with this one on my stream. I really enjoy games that are mechanical engaging like this one.

My biggest feedback is that the player needs feedback. It is hard to know when the player can dash again. The feedback could be something like the player model goes dim when the dash is recharging. Also, it might be helpful to add your health floating above your head. This one I am not so sure about, but it is worth at least testing. My thought is that I don't want to look away from the action to check my health, but it could cause a problem of too many things on the screen are blocking the player's vision. Up to interpretation, I think.

I think all my feedback for this game is just small nitpicks. It was a very very fun game and honestly, this biggest feedback is just that I would love to see more of this and maybe connect to some kind of story! Thank you for making a great game!

I too, made a bullet hell game, well it is kind of like a bullet hell game lol. I have not played many bullet hell or rhythm games, but this to me felt like a difficult boss battle that put the player in interesting situations. I enjoyed the different stages of the boss since they all made me think and move differently. I didn't understand the rhythm part of the game and how I needed to dash with the beat of the music so having a visual or sound indicator would be helpful for me.

Overall cool visuals and techno-music. It was really difficult to reset the shoot but maybe I just suck at rhythm games lol. I also noticed that after you reset the shoot you can no longer dash and I ended up dying a lot because of not being able to move. Allowing movement along with making the color change on the character more noticeable when charged up would really help I think. Also adding a button/command to return to the main menu would be nice in case you need to quit the game or look at the options. The vibe was super neat tho!

Very fun, this game is incredibly satisfying to play. I loved the music as well. I just wish I could damage the spider with the tracking missiles he sends at you.

I love the attack patterns and the movement of the spider, the movement and shooting to the beat is really well implemented. I think a visual cue for the beat would be nice, since you have to act on the beat as a player. Overall great experience!

Love the music and feel of the game! I had a great time despite being horrible at rhythm games. Dashing around and dodging bullets was really satisfying, and I felt that the spider's attacks were all unique and interesting. One minor thing I ran into (literally) was the bottom wall of the game, where after a certain point, the player is occluded by the wall and dodging becomes a lot harder. Great game!

I'm a big fan of rhythm games and this submission definitely delivered. It was fun to zoom around and evade all the awesome explosions! In the end I didn't manage to beat the arachnodroid since I had a hard time matching the beat. Maybe there could be a slightly more forgiving window of time in which to be on the beat? I may also just be bad xD

Best game I've ever played tbh. Would be cool if the spiders exploded into multiple fragments at the end though. :(
