The game is okay, the controls took a few minutes to get used to since they weren't with respect to the camera. Also cannot see things that are far, so I was not able to read the text in game most of the time. Also for easier downloads, just put both the .exe file and the data folder in the same zip file. Good luck updating the game!

i managed to get it to work; i didn't want this to sit with only a few ratings by the time voting ended!
getting it to work wasn't necessarily hard, it was just an extra step that i missed at first. that was my fault!
that aside, the gameplay itself was very difficult; though i did really appreciate the chill music and the text hints. if you pitch the music down just a bit in the menu, you end up with really good lo-fi beats. interesting option to have, haven't ever seen that before.
trying to move when your starting speed is insanely fast, but it decreases, means most of my speed would be burnt up trying to decelerate after my initial keypress. thankfully, watching four seasons of the expanse trained me well for flip and burn maneuvers, but it was still very tough to get the hang of, especially with how strange the camera can behave. nonetheless i can happily say i finally gave it a fair chance and enjoyed my time with it!
I was able to get this working, but the controls are unfortunately extremely jarring and I couldn't get past level 3. Also, it seems like the music is uh.. directional? If I turned, the music would move to my other ear, and it got me really disoriented. I like the concept, and you definitely implemented the theme, but I got frustrated very quickly because it was so difficult to control or even see what I was doing. If you could get that sorted out, I'd be interested in trying it again.
Also, it's a small detail but I really liked the pitch slider for the music. I've never seen something like that before, it was fun to play with!
I forgot to adjust the doppler levels, so music is directional. Apologies.
Also, what exactly was your problem in level 3?
Vision is limited because an orthographic view was used, and sometimes, you need to jump into the unknown to further explore the level. Sometimes, you need to move forward while you jump to finish level 3. Sorry for not making it clear.
*EDIT: I will update the game after the game jam to sort things out*
I kind of wonder if something just went horribly, horribly wrong with my installation, since other people seemed to be able to play fine... It wasn't that the view was limited, I could get behind that, the problem was that I would move the mouse and the camera would move in the completely wrong direction, so I couldn't even look where I wanted to go. I really don't know what went wrong, but it was completely unplayable when I tried. Maybe I'll give it another go sometime and see if it's any different.
