Amazing art and music! The game was a bit confusing, and I think your cactus launched counter isn't working, unless I'm missing something here. Could use a bit more visual on the heat; a lot of the times I felt like I was doing the same as before and died either faster or slower without understanding why. I also came across a little bug where the balloon gets stuck in the platforms; I popped one and the cactus grew inside the platform and I couldn't pick it up, but I simply waited and more fell down the sky. Overall, nice and cute little game with simple mechanics and controls (although my controller didn't work for some reason).

I love the art and music!!! Very very cute!!! It was really fun to play!!! One suggestion for the keyboard buttons is to map something else than Q as I was walking/jumping while trying to grab or throw with Q (of course, you could play with both hands there) but it's a suggestion for a more cohesive gameplay!!!

While reading the comments, I learned that cacti was the plural of cactus...

As for the game, I really enjoyed the western atmosphere and the art. They all fit together quite well. Also, this fox do be a sweaty boi.

The art is fantastic and the gameplay feels really nice! Plus I love cactuses so this is a great game in my books!

As the heat beats down on Foxy, he starts to deplete. From the sky, balloons carrying  countless coconuts came across. Yearning for the refreshments, he learns that the only way to earn them is by popping the balloons with painfully prickly cactuses!

Controls (Keyboard):

A - Move left

D - Move right

Space - Jump

Q - Pick up cactus

P - Pause or Start/Enter

Lovely game and cute atmosphere!  I really like the picking-throwing cacti feature.

Nice aesthetic and interesting mechanic throwing the cacti up in the air to pop the balloons. The fox getting exhausted is a nice touch and works well with the theme.
