Cool game! I liked the tone and the story kept me interested.

I couldn't quite get the question or accuse functions to work. Question seemed to only draw one line segment, instead of the two jointed one in accuse mode, and neither seemed to be spawning more cards.

Great game though, I'll probably try to finish it to get the end of the story sometime.

Lovely idea! I included it in my Chip ‘N Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

I like the idea behind the game, but yeah parts feel a little rushed in creating. I'd of rather have seen something more thought out but smaller then trying to make it feel large. But I really like the idea you were running with!

Nice concept but I did not understand how to play the game. I saw the screenshot but could not make heads or tails of it. If you could just explain how to play the game in detail it would be lovely! I loved the soothing audio and the graphics of the game although!

Thanks for the feedback!
The basic idea of the game is to solve the murder case. You discover this case, as well as evidence and the suspects by investigating the cards. Unfortunately I didn't manage to give full feedback on which cards can be investigated etc, but the basic idea is if a card appears when it is investigated then you could investigate that card. There is no penalty for doing it wrong. This is done by pressing the investigate UI button and then pressing on a card.

On top of this you have to question the suspects about the evidence, but you can question other people about other things. For example, questioning the rookie about the suspects gives you additional information on each of them that you can question the suspects on and so on. Again there is no penalty for questioning people about things, and the only way to tell if they can be questioned about a thing in the jam build if it results in a card. This is done by pressing the question UI button and pressing from a person to another card.

Finally to complete the game you have to accuse suspects of a crime using the accuse UI mode. To do this you press from a person to a crime (the card will be named "Crime:...") and then to a piece of evidence. This may result in a card appearing, if the card is a statement card admitting guilt then you have solved that crime. You win when you investigate the card resulting from the statement admitting the murder.

I hope this helps. And thank you for playing the game!

Also, if you could try to quantify what you were trying to do and what you found difficult it would be much appreciated

After I got to know about the rookie and the boss and the boat cards, i wasn't able to unlock any more cards other than when I asked the boss about the call and he replied 'I don't know anything about your call with the boss' and same thing with the rookie

Sound like you might have been stuck in the questioning mode when you should be investigating the other cards more

Hey there! I really like the writing, it's really funny! Not trusting the dead guy made me smile! :D

Can you finish the game at this version? It seems after the rookie is giving you a new card all of the new cards start disappearing when you zoom in so it's impossible to read those.

Great job overall!

Hi, thank you for your comment and for playing.

It is possible to finish this version of the game even without the unfortunately disappearing cards, but the solution design was quite rushed so may be difficult to find - if you're interested I recommend questioning the rookie about the suspects.

And thank you for pointing out the bug, it does really help.
