The combos make the score progressive larger, with a combo of 100 you get near to 1kk depending on the candy you get. Yes, a heart depending on the score could be a good thing. 

The secret here is to know when to jump and when to dash, and you can make more than 1kk (I'm terrible at playing games and my record is 2kk lol you can do it).

Nice graphics and great job for first game. Now I didn't get to 100k points (but close), however it would have been nice to get back a heart every so often (maybe one does, but I hadn't reached that stage. Well still it could get progressively longer between heart renewals so it is easier in the beginning).
