Neat start! I included it in my Buddy Up Jam: Winter 2022 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Cute little concept, I like that you can befriend the animals, I don't think I'd ever want to banish them! :D

Thank you

I like the exploration of the island a lot! I enjoy the fighting system - I think some pointers on how likely a successful attack is might make it more engaging as you sort out the best option. Having a way to change the camera or at least zoom out would be nice too to make the exploration aspect feel even more adventurous!

Developer

Good ideas, i will look into implementing that. Thank you.

This is a great prototype for a really big game for a jam! I can totally see the inspiration from Animal Crossing style game play that you are going for. I think balancing the combat out a little bit would be good, but I can see this being something that you add to over time. Genuinely got jump scared as I walked towards them and they darted at me haha!

Developer

Thank you, yeah there is alot to be done.

An open world game for a jam, are you mad? ;-) ;D I really enjoyed the vibe of the game. I think it needed more things to explore, but the whole searching for stuff while fighting was a fun twist.

yeah, i had alot of stuff planned but i didnt get close to what i expected to have by the end. Thanks for the feedback.

Had a blast with this game!! It's so cute. I did genuinely get jumpscared by the placeholder cube but I forgave it anyway...

Developer

Thank You.
