I really like this idea and game mechanic! Swinging the ghost around is quite fun. It would be even more fun if the enemies could be destroyed, maybe with some particle effects or something. It would also be nice to have some pickups that spawn around the map. But what's there works well and looks good too, especially the ghost. Nice work!

How does you game fit the theme?
You are alone deep in the catacombs, and you bump into a friendly ghost who resides there, the ghost is willing to lend you a hand in these harsh conditions!
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I used some free assets (tiles and sprites) from itchio and I added their corresponding links to my games description.
Most of the code was done from scratch.

The intro sequence and ghost trail are nice touches, and good work getting the dudes to follow the player around the level layout. It's definitely a good concept and I hope you continue! For some nitpicky constructive feedback, I noticed for the most part the enemy spawns were off-screen, but in one area in the upper right of the map they could spawn fairly close to the player. And the enemies could dodge all the walls, but on the one threshold on the lower right they could get stuck if I stood to the left of it. I like the idea of dealing with the enemy swarm and attempting to find a fairly safe place to regain energy, but after a while the spawn rate seemed to be so low that it took a half or full lap to find another enemy. Aside from that, I can imagine pickups and new abilities would make this really enjoyable.
Great work!

The graphics are very attractive, and the mechanic of moving the ghost around to attack is really innovative!
Collision detection for the ghost seemed quite buggy though, as the ghost would often pass through the enemies without damaging them, even when I had plenty of energy. It also took many hits from the ghost to kill each enemy, no matter how fast I moved my mouse.
The "R" key for dodge was an unfortunate choice, since it requires using the same finger as pressing "D" for movement, so it limits the directions in which the player can dodge. The Spacebar or a mouse button would have been a nicer input for that. It would have been nice to have music and sound effects, too.
Still, it was a neat idea for the mechanic and theme, and if you fix the bugs and adjust the game balance this could be really fun. Thank you for sharing this game!
Really nice idea, I like that you control both characters in different ways!
Adorable game with cool concept- kept knocking stuff off my desk for maximum damage xD

That was cute and well made, would have been nice to add more "juice" to the enemies getting hit
That was a really good looking and cute game! I just think it's missing a few features, such as score, sound effects, music and difficulty increase as the endless mode progresses.
Regardless, the ghost mechanisms were very innovative and the game overall is very fun! Nice work!
The concept is interesting, I think that by taking more time and developing it you could make something really nice!
So I hope you will continue to develop it!
This game looks very good, it's a shame it has not got music and some more levels.
I think this really nailed the theme in a unique way. Especially the art style. I used pixel art as well. As well as the ambience and the atmosphere being perfect. 5/5 Innovative 5/5 Theme.
If you don't mind, could you play and review my game? I need some constructive criticism lol.
Nicely put together. Using the ghost to attack was pretty unique and fit with the theme well. Some sort of points system or a timer would be good.
Well done! Swinging the ghost around to attack was fun, it would be nice if it was shown how much damage each hit did so you could tell that your bigger swings were doing more damage.
Certainly it would be a lot of fun if the game was to be expanded more, The full idea for this also contained abilities for the ghost, I was thinking of a "phantasmal circle" somewhat like an area of effect ability you could cast on the floor, but doing so would make your ghost dissapear for the duration of the ability, leaving you vulnerable.
The web version was a little off because not everything would fit on screen -- going fullscreen improved it but didn't completely get everything showing on either Chrome or Firefox. That aside, I agree with ChePhan about using the ghost to slash being easy to get used to; it's innovative in that I can't think of games that have used it before yet it does quickly start to feel like a very natural way of doing things.
What a solid implementation of a survival game. Mouse-slashing feels weird but you get used to it quickly.
Some improvements would have been a health bar for the enemies and a slightly higher difficulty, e.g. having enemies dropping bear traps or something.
