How does you game fit the theme?
Throughout the game, the player has an ongoing dialog with a cat piñata. It is ambiguous whether or not this is caused by sleep deprivation, or if the piñata is actually a god of chaos.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
No

Got attracted by the radar motion. Is that some shader asset or some tutorial suggest? It looks super cool.

Thanks! This is a shader I wrote for Unity’s universal render pipeline, although it likely would be better done as a render pass. I plan on writing about this in more detail later this week/weekend in a postmortem, and in a shader breakdown.

The source code is available, if you’re interested in taking a look (the main shadergraph, and a subgraph for each ping sweep):

Deserves waay more attention and exposure.

Thanks, that means a lot to hear! :)

I was unable to make it past the main menu upon loading the game. No movement controls were enabled, or anything. I was able to use the arrow keys to exit out of the scene.

Hi, thanks for giving my game a try! This is a VR only game - were you playing on desktop?
