  • Really cool cohesive-looking art style

  • I don’t like the font used for “Player Turn” and “Terrain HP”. It stands out since it doesn’t fit the game’s aesthetic

  • I think this needs a dedicated tutorial. I read the itch page’s description but I’m still pretty confused

  1. How do I know if an enemy is going to attack me or the terrain?

  2. Why do I have to sometimes press the “Attack” button to be able to attack but other times I don’t?

  3. Why is it possible for the player to attack their own terrain?

  • It’s possible I was doing level 2 completely wrong but I found it really difficult. Here’s the solution I used:

Thanks for the detailed review. I'll keep that in mind if it work on it further or any other game in my next jam.

For the second point you mentioned, it's because you can move + attack in a turn. If you moved already, you can't move again. Hence, I made it so that you directly get the option to attack when you've already moved, instead of pressing the attack button. Sorry for the inconvenience. I thought it would improve the experience but it seems like it didn't work the way I intended it to.
