In what way does your game fit the theme?
Lyra animates a rock Golem and together they fight a morphling that neither of them can take on their own.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Code: Mostly me. I used an asset to implement remappable keys.
Art: Mostly assets. I made Lyra, some of the animations and some of the VFX.

I enjoyed this game. I agreed with Coreylr, that the combat is rather complex, but once I figured it out, I really enjoyed it! Good job!

Thank you :) Did you also encounter the "default purple texture" issue?

the concept behind this game is really awesome! the voice acting is great & the graphics are awesome too! Definitely could be a boss scene for a larger RPG in the future, so I hope you expand on this!

While graphically it looks good, some of the particle effects showed up as just the default purple mesh. It was also a bit laggy for me, but that's probably because I have a sh*t computer & has nothing to do with your game. Couldn't figure out how to heal or cast the shield, it kept saying I couldn't cast it on enemies.

There's a bit of a learning curve when it comes to combat in general, but like I said, I can totally see this being part of a larger RPG game, so in that context I think it would be more straight forward. Great work!

I'd appreciate it if you could play/rate my game as well! :)

Thanks :) The default key for changing the selected target is 'Tab'. I anticipated that people might run into this issue, so I made the loading screen basically be "Press 'Switch Target' to continue...' Perhaps I should've displayed it in game as well if players repeatedly try to heal / shield the boss.

And yeah, the combat is hard. This is probably equivalent to heroic difficulty in an MMO.

What are you systems specs? Would you be able to send a screenshot of the default purple mesh?

[edit] Checked out your game. Very cool :)

oh okay yeah I totally missed that! XD I think displaying that somewhere on the fight screen would help!

It's probably just my dinosaur computer. I have a Macbook Air (macOS High Sierra ver 10.13.6),  Intel HD Graphics 5000 1536 MB & 1.4 GHz Intel Core i5 processor.

I attached some screenshots! It happened in the cut scene & when I press "E" to attack.
