Neat concept, but I think you need to make the decision between keeping the ships together and apart more weighty. Maybe some enemies are easy and spread out and some are harder and require you to be together. Also there might need to be something to protect forcing you to split up to clear smaller enemy waves. You nailed the atmosphere with the music, sound, and art. Great job.

In what way does your game fit the theme?
In this game, you control three ships at the same time. When you hold the Space key, the ships group together and attacks deal more damage - they're stronger together.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Code and sprites, yes. The sound effects, music, title screen background and the keyboard key icons are from asset packs (I've added links in the Credits section of the page)
