In what way does your game fit the theme?
if towers are close together and can see each other, they can share ranges, making them stronger together

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
yes, except for some boilerplate code (adjusting canvas size based on window size and circle/circle collision and circle/rectangle collision) The cannon is the same as the cannon from another project, with the colour changed.

Honestly, I was about to say something similar to Hamdogu before I read his comment.

Having towers share range if they're close enough together is absolutely genius, and is a fresh new mechanic for the tower defence genre, which is great! I do find the mechanic a tiny bit OP and perhaps you need to cap the amount of towers a tower can share it's range with, but otherwise it's great!

Other than that, I think Hamdogu pretty much covered what I was gonna say, wave counter, scoring, the music stopped playing for me as well, cute graphics, etc. But overall, I think you did a good job with this game! Keep it up!

yeah that's something to consider. If I ever continue this project, I probably will implement the towers-connected cap. Thanks for the advice!

I really liked the concept of increasing range and power of towers in close range, having the line render between them was a really nice touch. Overall had lots of fun playing :)

Some comments: I'd maybe include a scoring features/wave counter just to keep track of progress, would be nice to compare against. Also i think the balancing needs some work as the first few waves for a while were quite easy but then got really hard after i couldn't kill anything with everything on the screens. The music stopped playing after a short while too.

Otherwise I thought the difficulty curve was a really smart implementation in a quick way, and really liked the way you had to be smart about placement of towers so they don't fire all at the same time! Great job, also the graphics are cute ^.^

Thanks for the in depth review, I'll keep this in mind. I made the music not loop because it didn't loop well and I couldn't figure out why, and the towers firing at the same time was a bug-turned-feature I'm proud of :). Thanks!

I liked your music and your idea, but sadly the execution was lacking.

It’s almost impossible to get past the first wave, because you don’t have enough money to buy more than 1 tower. The first wave is too large for only one tower, causing you to let every single enemy through, barring some luck with double hits.

You can place towers after earning enough money from the first couple enemies to put at the end of the level and prevent you losing any lives :)

The difficulty curve does need quite a bit of work. I think I might come back to this project someday, but I don't know. Thanks for the compliment to the music! It's the first piece of music I've made myself. I probably should have made it clear that there aren't waves in this game (due to lack of time). Thanks for the advice!
