This has potential. But the boxes are way to hard to push around and the buttons should show when they are pressed. Also, one box took so long to push into place that I couldn't rewind back out of the hole again.

In what way does your game fit the theme?
A 2D puzzle platformer game where the rewind mechanism is used to solve the puzzles.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I used assets from the asset store and used music from a website.

I like what you've done here with the rewind mechanic. This is a polished game in many ways- the lightning is nice, the player moves smoothly, and the physics engine is decent. I like this concept though and I love how the graphics look and the surreal vibes from the Limbo-esque background. There are a few issues, but nothing too bad- as others have said, the rewind is too slow. I also found pushing boxes too slow as well. The jump pads had some janky physics- I had a hard time at the level where you have to use it to get across a big gap; fall speeds are a little weird too. I also got softlocked at one of the parts where you have to use a box to get out of a hole- I accidentally pushed the box into the left wall. Overall, I love the vibes and ambiance you've created with this game and I believe you can easily improve this game by making just a few changes. If it's not too much trouble, I'd really love to see a review on our game, if you have the time!
Hey great game overall! there were a few things that could be improved, such as the switches being hard to hit and the rewind following exactly your path could really make it so some people if they had to leave the computer for a minute in a pit would have to wait that whole minute to get back, and if you speed it up they could overshoot a rewind if its too fast so maybe mix it with another mechanic like a checkpoint gate or be able to set a point to rewind to. All just suggestions but it was still great!
Thanks for your suggestions.
Lever: I don’t know why it doesn’t recognize input sometimes.
Rewind: I understood that later that it takes ages to rewind. I’ll try to fix it in the future.
If You Have To leave: If you have to leave and don’t want to wait the same amount of time then pause the game. There is a pause menu. It also pauses the time recording system.
Thanks again for you suggestion and contribution. :)
I really wish you added more details for the environment! Even just making the ground a darker color so it matched the background, would have been super neat. Kudus to putting in lighting though, it always helps :)
I really enjoyed playing this game, it was super cool!
Btw, come visit and play our game it'll be very much appreciated
Nice concept, although sometimes I just walked a long time and the rewinding also took long, maybe smaller levels would be better in future games. Aside from that, what I really liked are the aesthetics and puzzle mechanics. Checkpoints would be cool too :)
Thanks for the positive comment.
Long Levels: I did realize that the levels were too big. But it was too late to fix them. Long levels: I thought the levels were short. That’s why I made them that way. Checkpoints: I will add them later.
Thanks again for your positive comment. :) A rating will be appreciated though.
Rated, i liked it good job, maybe if you had time you could check out my game : )
