I like the commodore 64.. the graphics are so real. The game it is a little slow.. when a level is finished it take sometimes too much to the next one.

Also the pointing is quite hard... I was pressing space without thinking too much..

I think is a good entry for the jam.

Good job.

My game is a casual game if you wanna rate is https://misterm.itch.io/mixtape-match , Thanks

The art is lovely, all of the retro fantasy through the interfaces are awesome.

In aspects of game design there are a few things that might break the fun, like the long waiting between stages and the spyke in speed/difficulty , but having no bullets while the monsters tear the TV apart from full health can be frustrating. Perhaps a simple reload time after that can help!

Good work overall, nice project!

Great art work, I like how the game is placed in one scene with the retro style very clear. Nice work!

Great graphics and audio, it feels like I'm back in time. I'm having difficulties with the mechanics tho even if the instructions were laid out in front of me. Maybe it's me, i don't know.

Thanks for the feedback. The game is a sort of Galaga clone. The only difference is that ships have been ejected out of the TV and landed on spinning cassette tape reels. And the tape plays and rewinds. Honestly part of the game is still in my brain :)

As others have said, this game looks amazing. Though I struggled with understanding how the mechanics worked.

The game looks amazing! I loved the sticky notes explaining the controls and giving credit to the artists. I was a little confused what the shift button did but I was able to shoot all the bosses. Nice game :)

If you have time, please check out my game!

To feel the challenge go past the Pitfall's BOSS!

Unfortunately there is a small bug that makes the game wait a bit to much after killing the first boss.

Please be patient it was a fully asleep nightly release...

I'm loving the aesthetic and atmosphere you built here. Great soundtrack with a simple game mechanic. Great job, I hope you keep going down the road of making more games ;) Cheers!

It's beautiful and original. the only problem is that it gets old fast. 9 {} out of 10

Help your C64 play and rewind some copied tapes.

During rewind  huge bosses arise.

3 levels, some retro reference

enjoy! :)
