In what way does your game fit the theme?
The player must escape a dungeon created by an interdimentional entity summoned by accident by a group of teenagers making a film about a ritual, and the only way to save the world is rewinding the tape so the ritual is reversed
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
No, some assets are from gameart.org and music from whitebat, but all are cc0. I hope that's ok

This wasn't that good to be honest. While the DVD format is original, the game wasn't even made for this gamejam so it doesn't fit the theme.
As for the game itself, there are some major problems:
Better luck next time, this is a format I've never seen used for games before, so you might have something cool here if you work out the kinks.
Hi, BlackDragon, by what you're describing it seems like you hit pause at some point. The 'you died' screen is a menu screen that should redirect you to the beginning. Having the pause pressed make the menus don't work properly...
I downloaded your game but what should I open it with?
Hi, Daniel; you can open it VLC, for example. Just go open_with> VLC.
