How does the game fit the theme?
In this game, everybody is out to get you, even inanimate objects. You need to proceed with caution and think twice before interacting with anything.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The UI, including the tile maps, sprite sheets etc. were downloaded from asset packs. The sound was also obtained from assets. All assets that were not made by myself were downloaded from itch.io marketplace or unity asset store, after carefully reviewing the license.

The game is particularly interesting! It's expressed in a very interesting way!
Thank you so much!
The premise is good. I wasn't able to figure out what to do at the starting area though. I found out that I could grab the rock but that ends up killing me. The guard and the flower however do not respond at all when I press the interact button on them despite an indication that they can be interacted with. It makes the experience feel unresponsive. There might be something that I missed. Good job getting the game completed for the jam!
So sorry to hear that :( The interaction actually only works when you press the dialogue box when an interactable object is in range -> then press E to interact. It was intentional on my part since I wanted players to be able to select which object to interact with when they are in range of multiple at once, but I understand it might not be very intuitive. I definitely should have added a tutorial! If you want to, you can give it another try.
Yeah, I wasn't aware of that. Thanks for the tip
Really liked your take on the theme, I still tried opening that damn chess even though I had a feeling haha. Great work!
Hahaha, glad you enjoyed it!
This game gets my nerves but in a good way lmao 😭
As a personal advice i think you should fix some of the collision boxes since i felt like there was "invisible" spaces where i couldnt move, and also learn about y sorting itll make this game even better. Great work!
Thanks so much! This is actually my first 2D game so yeah, had a real headache with the sorting layers :') I couldn't get it to work properly in time for the jam, but I'll definitely work on it after!
cool game i like how everything is against you pretty much fis the theme. can you rate my game
Thanks so much!! Yeah sure thing, consider it done :>
Fun puzzles and quite a good take on the theme! One recommendation would be to mention mouse controls beforehand as I thought it was bugged at first. Very fun game!
Yeah, I forgot to add a tutorial for the controls :') Definitely on me for that one. Thanks for enjoying regardless!
Fun game, good puzzles and it was interesting to see how each thing was unexpected. Good job!
Thank you so much! Glad that it wasn't too predictable XD
These puzzles were amazing! Very good entry the art is really awesome too.
Thank youuu!! Definitely spent a few nights thinking up the puzzles so they wouldn't be too monotonous XD
funny game, reminded me of dumb ways to die :))
Hahah I played that game so much as a kid, might have influenced the game design in some way
I loved the unexpected traps — you never quite know what is going to try to kill you next The checkpoints were also a great choice and kept all those deaths from becoming frustrating.
For improvements, you can tell that there probably wasn’t enough time to fully sort out some of the visual layers, so the character can end up underneath certain objects. But that’s a pretty minor issue for a jam game. Overall, it was fun and had a lot of personality!
Thank you so much! Will definitely solve the visual issue after the jam ;')
The game was so fun hahaha
The lever thing is super funny, it just kept killing me in different unexpected ways
And the fact that there are checkpoints removes entirely the frustration we could have playing the game. Great job!
Yeah, I wanted the game to be ragebait-y but not frustrating, so I added a checkpoint system towards the end :> Thanks for playing!
Fun and unpredictable puzzles and I also got laughed at by a chest. Nice work on the level and puzzle design.
XD Thanks for the compliment! Glad you had fun
Creative work there <3
Thank you <333
I absolutely love this! The pixel art is so cute and the idea is so fun, it makes for a perfect game for this jam! :)
Ahhh thanks so much!!
Nice! Its pretty good. The only problem is you can go under some objects.
Thanks for playing! Yeah, I really need to fix the sorting layer issue after the game jam :')
It seems pretty cool!
Thanks for enjoying!!
the menu is a mood, that thin moon over the layered clouds is my favourite bit of art ive seen in the jam so far. everything including the furniture wanting you dead is a fun angle
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
