The combat is so incredibly well thought out and elaborate. I love how many options I have to fight with, and the parry system makes it challenging in a very fun way! I love the animations, VFX and SFX as well, makes it feel super responsive!

Oh my god this is so pretty!!! I love the art style I love the visuals, absolute gorgeous! I love the gameplay too, and the NPCs lying to you makes it very on theme! Wonderful puzzle platformer!

The butler is super funny XD The art style is a total vibe too, very suitable for the game's tone! I just feel the combat was lacking a lot of VFX and SFX, which did make it feel a bit flat. I love the concept though!

Thank you so much!

So sorry to hear that :( The interaction actually only works when you press the dialogue box when an interactable object is in range -> then press E to interact. It was intentional on my part since I wanted players to be able to select which object to interact with when they are in range of multiple at once, but I understand it might not be very intuitive. I definitely should have added a tutorial! If you want to, you can give it another try.

It feels pretty addictive to play actually! I just think the difficulty should be harder for each wave. Felt pretty easy throughout my playthrough. I also think you should have added different types of enemies, some kind of mini boss every 5 waves or so, that way increasing difficulty wouldn't mean just spawning more enemies.

Very very fun and additive! I love the visuals and how there's an actual story behind this.

Hahaha, glad you enjoyed it!

Really love the art style! The gameplay and puzzles feel really thought out too! Great work!

Thanks so much! This is actually my first 2D game so yeah, had a real headache with the sorting layers :') I couldn't get it to work properly in time for the jam, but I'll definitely work on it after!

(1 edit)

The visuals are absolutely stunning! Oh my god it reminds me so much of monument valley! The puzzles were nice, but the visuals are amazing. You even made a custom loading screen! SO PRETTY

I'd appreciate if you could check out my game too!

Oh my god this is so cute! I love the visuals and art! It's absolutely gorgeous! And the UI is stunning as well! Really enjoyed the vibe, great work!

Yo the music is so cool hahah! I liked the gameplay, but I do agree with the other comments. I think the movement controls need tweaking to feel better, and that the camera is too zoomed in. Also wish that the loading icon was a bit more obvious since I couldn't see it at first, and wasn't sure if it was working.

I'm not sure if this is consistent across all levels, but from my experience, every time I get the puzzle wrong, I would restart with only the choice to ask "Are you a trap", which both doors would have the same answer to. So essentially a 50/50 instead of a puzzle.

Otherwise, I really enjoyed it! I like solving riddles like this.

Really short game but I enjoyed it. Reminds me of the game Not my Neighbor. Great job for your first game!

I really like how we could piece together our own questions! Great riddles that really make me wrack my brain XD Really reminds me of the gates of heaven and hell riddle that I liked a lot as a kid

I like the plot, it's really interesting! The dialogues seem very well thought out. Simple but fun!

Thanks so much!! Yeah sure thing, consider it done :>

I really like the way the 2D characters are layered onto a 3D environment! It makes for such an interesting contrast. I also enjoyed the atmosphere!

Yeah, I forgot to add a tutorial for the controls :') Definitely on me for that one. Thanks for enjoying regardless!

Really elaborate plot and dialogue! I don't really play detective games, but I enjoyed this one so much.

It's actually my first time playing bullshit on PC! Enjoyed it a lot, really reminded me of the times I used to play this with my friends

Damn, these cars are out to get me XD It was very fun making them crash into walls though!

I love the visuals and the audio! Really nice roguelike feel to it that is quite well fleshed out in such a short amount of time!

Really nice and chill game! I'd like it if the crafting could be automated from the start (select a material to keep collecting it, only change if needed) and also some other things to do while waiting for the materials, but I understand it would have taken more time to implement. Nice work so far tho!

Such an addictive game! Really had a lot of fun in this one!!

Very creative game! Also kinda morbid if u think about it, since using other people's gravestones as stepping stones ;-;

Thank you so much! Glad that it wasn't too predictable XD

Thank youuu!! Definitely spent a few nights thinking up the puzzles so they wouldn't be too monotonous XD

Hahah I played that game so much as a kid, might have influenced the game design in some way

Thank you so much! Will definitely solve the visual issue after the jam ;')

Yeah, I wanted the game to be ragebait-y but not frustrating, so I added a checkpoint system towards the end :> Thanks for playing!

XD Thanks for the compliment! Glad you had fun

Thank you <333

Ahhh thanks so much!!

Thanks for enjoying!!

I enjoyed it! The art is really well done. I liked the story too. I just wish the player had more choices and freedom for more varied outcomes. Maybe you could expand upon this after the game jam! Just a suggestion tho :>

Thanks for playing! Yeah, I really need to fix the sorting layer issue after the game jam :')

Ahaha, really enjoyed this. Love that you can't trust anything, including the tutorial, what you see, and your own gamer instincts. Cute visuals too!

The art is gorgeous. I think it might be the prettiest out of everything I've seen so far. Great story, and I think it has great potential to be expanded upon.
