What engine will you use? List

This is my first jam, I'm excited

Just out of curiosity. What engine are you using? Let's see what the stats are in this thread.

I'm going to use Defold. I've made a game on Godot before, it's a good engine too. I also like minimalist engines: love2d, ebitengine.

So, I'll use Defold for the jam. What about you?

I originally worked in Unity, but have since switched to Godot because of its more simplistic style

Ideal for low devices, the editor runs even on a smartphone

I've been using Unreal Engine for a few months now and, mostly use it since you can use blueprints instead of needing to use C# or another language.

I use Pygame because procedural mechanics are a must for me and can easily be made in Python. I'm waiting for Julia game development libraries to get better, as it's my preferred language for AI, but they're currently fairly buggy :(

I like the python, too. What about the Arcade? It has good documentation.

I watch jam videos on YouTube, it motivates me. Fond the microScript engine, it seems like a very good solution for a prototype. This is very convenient for collaboration.

I have been using Unreal Engine for the past few years. I love it, but I鈥檝e legitimately never touched another engine in my life, so I鈥檓 considering trying out Godot for the jam due to the overwhelmingly positive reviews people have been giving it馃榿

I have 1 day of experience in love2d, i think im ready for a game jam.
