How does the game fit the theme?
The premise starts off mundane: you’re just doing your job, maintaining a house. Everything seems fine at first, reinforcing the idea that "nothing can go wrong"—until things inevitably do. The player believes they’re in control, but as they complete tasks, supernatural disturbances grow worse, subverting expectations.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
A* Pathfinding, and virtually all assets you see. The vast majority of code was written by us.

How many people worked on the game?

The house is way too big. Maybe a smaller and compact one would be more realistic within the current house market conditions :-) Good one. Congrats.

Even though I kept failing all of the tasks in which the monster came to kill my player, the gameplay was really fun. I loved the modeling and the room art. This game also had some impressive signifiers and affordances that guide me where to go. A yellow glow indicating where my objective is and the lighting to help me visualize which ones were interactable. A to-do task is well-implemented and felt like I'm being given a new quest every time I interact with an object. Great work overall.

I wasn't expecting that monster to pop out of nowhere! Genuinely terrifying. Only complaint is that running with Ctrl instead of shift feels very weird.

Thankyou for playing! ill be sure to check your game out as well. And yeah, I meant to change that but never got around to it. Sorry!

The game was pretty fun though I feel like it’s a little too difficult. Had a little trouble with the controls but that might just be a me thing. Also, I love the design of Mr.Deadline, he absolutely spooked me when I first failed the tasks. I feel like you run out of time too fast for some of the tasks and it can be pretty difficult to do tasks like the fireplace one in time. I haven’t been able to complete too many of the tasks before Mr.Deadline kicked my butt, because of this. Some problems I noticed were that Mr.Deadline couldn’t go up the stairs and I couldn’t find the breaker box when he appeared. The toilet is a pain for me to open but that might be a skill issue. The put the trash in the can task covers the timer.

Dude thank you so much for playing a leaving such an in depth and thoughtful review. I truly appreciate it. As for the tasks, I appreciate the feedback. I had a feeling they might be hard, but we ran out of time to create a decent tutorial and to balance the times for the tasks.  Also, the toilet was definitely not a skill issue, we just forgot to fix to collider on it lmao. And yeah, for whatever reason "Mr.Deadline" was going upstairs in the editor but not in the build. We tried fixing it several times but eventually had to give up.  As for the breaker box, it had 4 locations that would change every time the power went out.  it has a red glow to it to make it stand out but the hiding spots were pretty difficult to be honest. Thank you for playing our game, it made me really happy to see someone gave it a shot.

Love the visuals! And great choice of name. Creepy but great looking vibe. Good work!

Thanks for playing man, I really appreciate it. How did you find the controls and tasks to work out for you? we didn't have much time to play test or balance the game so I have no idea if the tasks are too easy, or too unguided and therefore difficult.
