Cool game! It's too easy to get hit by an enemy so maybe you should make the colliders smaller. Also maybe implement an hp mechanic so getting hit won't mean having to restart the game immediately.

Good job!

Love the concept and the sprites, but the physics could have used a lot of polish. I think they're way too snappy for a game like this, and the lack of coyote time is really felt, (if there is some, I think it's too subtle). One thing is that I think the map is too dense for such a high move speed. It feels like I can't make micro-adjustments to my position because of how tiny the tile size is and how fast I move relative to the tile size.

Over all though I had some fun, I just didn't end up finishing it cause the physics got more aggravating than fun after a while.

Very fair, thanks for all the feedback! I never thought to pay attention to the ratio of the movement speed vs the tile size, I'll consider the relationship between those 2 parameters in future games. Thank you so much for playing

nice platformer! great art :) only thing I noticed is that the fish hitboxes seem inconsistent and the controls are a bit weird to me, but I think that's just preference

Developer

Thank you for playing ! Yeah so the fish can only hit you on the way down, but i can see how it'd be a little misleading if you didn't know. Also can understand about the controls, they're based off of ufo50's control scheme
