How does the game fit the theme?
The cat causes chaos, but the nothing can go wrong for the cat, only the poor owner who left them home alone for the day. The only objective of CAT CHAOS is to cause as much (or as little) mischief as the player desires. By following different branching paths, different endings can be achieved.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The cat is not made from scratch, same with the audio used in the game.

Yeah, for some reason during the export there wasn't any audio and it was early in the morning and not something we had looked at after submission :(

I really like the idea of just being a cat that causes EVERYTHING to go wrong. Wasn’t sure what to do after causing chaos in the kitchen, I don’t know if I missed something but couldn’t find any other interactable objects anywhere, and not many rooms to go into. Cool idea!
Yeah the kitchen was the only area we really focused on so we didn't encounter any scope creep. Glad you liked the idea!

Yeah there's a weird bug with floor detection that never got worked out. You end up needing to jump to "unstuck" yourself.
Nice little game! I guess I caused a lot of trouble to my household :D Is 2nd floor implemented? I didn't managed to get there.
Second floor hasn't been built yet, but it will be someday haha
