Interesting premise, I think a survival game like this can work, but it did feel like it's just playing with randomness as I couldn't see a way that my actions made any sort of difference to what was happening. If there was a way to hint at where the red squares are (sound or visual indicator), it would really help.
Oh it's a great effort for only 2 days! I love the simple idea because it was quite addictive and hard to stop. Kept replaying. An addition that might help it be more fun if you want to develop the idea further is a way to figure out where the next tile be. Or maybe make the colors visible but cycle through differnt colors for each one, then the player has to time their move to a safe tile. Anyway, well done.
We feel the potential of a nice little game where you can play over and over again. Unfortunately, as the other comments say, all that's missing is a little indication of the tiles that surround us to help us make a choice.
But in 2 days you've already done a great job ;)
I respect the huzzle, the graphics a really nice and good (btw I think that your itch page looks great).
I think it was a bit hard to understand, for the first few times I just walked around a bit and then died. After I read the description more closely It clicked. Still something like an indication what the next tiles may be would be nice. I could see this as a good coffee break game, I hope you keep on working on it! :)
I think the core mechanic could be really interesting if it were fleshed out a bit more and there was some indication of what adjacent tiles might be. Unfortunate you didn't have more time to work on it, but nice work on what you do have.
