How does the game fit the theme?
In this game, actually nothing can go wrong. You cant fail and just enjoy the vibe, eating food as a slow snail

This was a lovely change of pace from most other entries!

The eating mechanic was great and I loved the trail of ants being both visually great and also a blocker in the world.

Very cool to have shared the design dog too, to give an insight into your process. Great work from the whole team!

Happy to see UE devs! I played the game and all I can say is that this is one proper snail simulator. You have put a lot of work in details, snail trail, eating, visuals and other things. I wish there would be some danger too, maybe from the ants or other enemies. But at the same time, nothing can go wrong, you are just being a snail.

Hey, thanks for playing our cozy little snail simulator :D
Yeah, I can imagine that the brackeys community is mostly unity dev. Maybe some more Godot people in the future? :D
We thought about danger but wanted to stay in the real of a cozy game :)
Thank you for the kind words <3

Nice game, I really like the art style of the world and the sounds, it's also nice to see other people used Unreal Engine to participate in the jam, great job.

Thanks <3
Yeah, most of us a Unreal Devs, so the choice of engine was pretty easy for us :D

Yeah, we overscoped on some of the mechanics. We attatched the Game Design Doc if you want to see what we planned for the game.

Developer(+1)

Smashing the vegetables is actually a pretty cool idea :D
Sadly we hadn't enough time to implement upgrades like increased speed ^^'

Love the atmosphere. Missing gameplay mechanics though. Potential to be a great slow paced cosy puzzle game.

Glad that we somehow achived a cozy vibe :D
