May be missing something, but I got stuck in the part with two buttons. Other than that the game was fun!
You can use the crate to hold down one of the buttons! Thanks for playing, though!
The player speed felt really nice to me. I'm not a patient individual in platformers so I'm always a fan when a developer leans more towards maybe going to fast rather than maybe going a little slower. I'm also a big sucker for mobility in games as well so a dash>jump>dash>jump>dash chain felt immensely satisfying.
The level design felt a little simple, but your player controller felt excellent and balanced it out so that it was satisfying even with simple obstacles like a wider than usual pitfall. Well done!
Thank you so much! I originally planned to leave myself 2-3 days solely for level design, but I ended up getting so bogged down by mechanics (character controller, object interaction, bugged mechanics, etc) that I only had 1 day for level design. I guess you live and you learn... Anyways, I really appreciate the feedback!
very cool game, nice character controller too :D
Thank you! It definitely took the most time
Oh yes i can see a perfect player controller out there, really enjoyable
Thank you, I really appreciate it
I enjoyed it but the "quick succession" part made it hard for me maybe its cuz im just bad. Overall enjoyed the visuals and the vibes. Fun stuffs
Thank you! Was it that the allowed timing between inputs was too small? I wish I had more time to playtest, but I'm glad to see some people had fun!
