How does your game fit the theme?
This idea is that the life of a grandpa is very calm and babies are a bit chaotic, like a storm. I wanted to add more "chaos" but didn't manage to.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote everything from scratch but used assets I found on itch.io. All the credits are in the description of the game.

It needs more chaos!
I somehow managed to go through the fridge and could not return to the interior...
Good use of assets, missing sound and needs more polish in the form of visual feedback,
but it's a good start. Shame you didn't have time to finish!

Developer

Thanks a lot for your feedback ! It's my first time with top down collisions so I'm not surprised you found a bug.

I also wanted to polish a bit more, but as I said, I had to upload it two days before the deadline.

Anyway, I always appreciate getting feedbacks so thank you

I found the mechanic simple but fun. To improve it you could consider to make it clearer if the input after interacting with the baby was successful or not. Right now if the same key shows again that you have to press, it's not very clear if it's because you succeeded on the last one, or didn't press it yet. Also, when I pressed an arrow key for movement instead of WASD I think it broke the game and I may have had to start over.

Developer

Thank you for your post, it's vert helpful ! There's a bunch of features that I wanted to implement like a better UI for the minigames, but I had to upload my game two days before the deadline. I'll also try to repair the bug you talked about along with some other bugs

The concept of taking care of twin babies definitely brought the theme to life! It really felt like you were managing a little storm of chaos. The game made me sympathize with the grandpa a lot. It was a fun and stressful experience!

Developer

Thanks a lot ! It's always good to people having fun with my game. I'll try your's when I'll be able to.

I really enjoyed the theme and ideas in this game. Taking care of twin babies definitely feels like a storm! I felt so much for the grandpa that I almost wanted to have the granny from my game go and help him out!

Developer

Thank you so much for the review, I'll test your game in probably a few days

Couldn't figure out how to get any score until I read the comments. The idea is really cool!

Thank you for the feedback! I'll edit the description of the game after the jam to make it clear

I love the interpretation of the theme in this game, it's so funny. I wasn't able to figure out how to score any points, I tried interacting with the orange baby once they were crying but it didn't seem to do anything. Great job on this!

Developer

Normally, you have to interact with him and then press the input that shows on screen (left or right arrow). I didn't have the time to make it very clear because I couldn't work on the game during the two last days. Thanks a lot for the reply !

Ah ok I think I get it! I'll try it again and see if I can rack up some points. Maybe it'd be good to add that part describing the gameplay to the description of the game to help out future players.

Thank you very much !

Sorry, last time I tried to open the game of another person I got hacked so I only try games that can be played in the browser. I see you're using Unity so it could be a good idea to build a WebGL version, more people will try your game. Hope you understand...
