How does your game fit the theme?
Janus's is the Roman god of doors and passages. He died, and now the world is full of chaos and you need to find a way through is doors to save the world...
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?

Good game!
Could you please rate my game ( https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-11/rate/2536045 )?
I don't like AI art ( at openning) . In game art too much effect I can't see clearly. Game don't have mission obviously like how many slime I should kill and where I go next because I clear all and nothing happen.
Graphics look cool, but the text is hard to read. I have also noticed that you can just spam-click attack.
Would be nice to see some additional gameplay in the future. Well done :]
Love pixel games! The retro feel is very endearing. Maybe the experience would be better if the camera could follow the character. Looking forward to you finishing it! :) <3
The art style is nice but I would tune it beck a little especially the text, It could be a fun game when you finish it
I am always a sucker for retro graphics, this is a cool game, and I really hope you update the game after the jam to have a full loop. keep up the work. You are killing it.
Thank you very much! The graphic was a design choice. I love the old-school NES style; I played a lot of Zelda, and the Minifantasy assets are gold.
I will update the game after the rating period and introduce the whole game loop and some other ideas.
Keep working on it :) and well done so far.
Thank you :) Yes, I will. An Update is already planned and will come after the rating period.
I love the visuals, but the lack of any sort of gameplay other than killing blobs really makes the game lacking. It does have potential, but needs a lot of work.
Well done for a first game jam tho!
Thank you!
Yes, still WIP and after the rating period is over I want to update the game, with proper game loop and story elements.
The lack of a gameplay loop and a goal really harms the game in my opinion. The theme seemed to be hardly present at all except for in the description. The graphics look fine other than that they are overly blurry. The ideas are good however and I can see it being a fun game with more time and work put into it. As of now I can't rate it very high, but keep at it!
Thank you for the feedback.
Yes, I agree. A game without a proper gameplay loop is not a game :)
I still wanted to ship it - it's the first jam I properly attended and finished.
Graphics was by choice. 8-bit pixel art and a retro-like shader to simulate an old TV screen. I grew up playing Zelda on the NES :)
