The idea is interesting, but I recognize I already played several games in this jam that follows the same idea, with some smalls differences, but that is in some way the same game.
Anyway, I cannot say to had done much better than this. So kudos for your good work.

The crashing is a somewhat known bug, but I couldn't reproduce it myself yet (I hate this kind of bugs)...

IMPORTANT!
I have heard from some Players that they stopped at the Overflow Game because they thought it was the end of the game. It is not! In fact it just is the end of the Intro Level
