I read your comments, and adding a lantern to show the current element would be great. I think you've got the movement right; the counter attack mechanic you talked about would compliment it so well. Good job with the character design as well. I don't know exactly what kind of combat you want to go with, but with the way it is right now, I feel like the attack should be quicker.

You have the text and images on your itch page, you could add them in a 1 minute tutorial in the game, it would help a lot. There was a lot of lag on the browser, but it ran perfectly when I downloaded it. If I may ask, do you plan on having the final release available on browser?

Since there are only a few days left, I am rating and giving feedback to games with few ratings. I would appreciate it if you rated my game too. No need to leave comments, unless you feel like it.

Thanks for the experience =]

thx for the feedback 😁. For the combat we are thinking of something inspired by the titian quest combats style because we have more characters and classes planned but we will experiment.

For the tutorial we were planing on one but I never made one before and mixing it with the last minute rush I felt it may have a good chance to ruined the experience more.

If possible I would like to release it on both browser and pc. But you and a nother commenter experience lag with the browser so i am not sure at the moment.

I will gladly try to make time to rate your game. 😄

The game is very confusing, the player has no visual guidance of which element he is currently using and which element the boss will be weak to the player's element. It's hard to understand what's going on and the core gameplay is strange. To fix it, I think it will be good for the player to be more evolved with both the visual element and the gameplay, and the way to change the boss's element should be through combat.

Thx for the feedback. Current the only visual guidance is the color of the "lantern bar" underneath the character portrait. The half round shaped bar.

We wanted to make the player carry a lantern and clothing to represent the current Player's element. We are also thinking of adding a picture in the UI to show the player's element after the jam is over.

Combat wise we wanted to add a "counter attack" to charge your Lantern juice. But unfortunately with work our time ran out so we rushed to this method instead. I hope we can continue this game after the jam.

Kind of had league of legends, meets knight-star-fox vibes.... elemental exchange themes were a popular choice!

Thx how was the gameplay itself? Its our first 3d game and game jam. I do know theres a lot of fine tuning needed 🤣.
