You play as a goblin attacking a castle. You are not a hero, you're a nuisance, but not for long.
How was your/your team's experience in this jam?
Our scope was too large, but we had a good time and learned plenty

I like the art, it's a bit hard to tell if you are hitting an enemy or not since there is no sound or animation feedback.
Yeah, we had combat feedback on the to-do list but didn't get around to it in time.

I really like the art in this game, nice work! I think some audio would make this game feel much nicer. The controls seemed pretty good and I liked the way the goblin would flip like Paper Mario. Great job!

I like how you combine pixel art with voxels! It's very pleasing visually.
I think you made the goblin attack hitbox too small! I can't seem to consistently kill enemies. Sometimes we just stand there and wack each other, but it's not always clear if I'm damaging them. Maybe some knockback animation would help too?

I agree completely, I scoped a bit too big and couldn't get those polish elements as knockback implemented! Loved your game and the way you interpreted the theme!
This game is visually going in a great direction. I think the voxel world matches with your sprites very well. Some improvements I could think would be a menu option to read the controls and enemy health bars.

The presentation is great and the gameplay is really cool, however i think it would be a bit better if there was some knockback to attacks since enemies just sorta drain your health if you stand next to them. Otherwise really cool game!
Yeah, that's a great idea! If we continue working on the project we'd definitely implement that.
