  • Joyful, polished and adorable. Easy mechanic to grasp and truly endearing character (those little legs and cute eye movements really sell it!).

My only pain point with this game was whenever I would get vertically stuck next to a wall. I think you could solve this rather easily by adding a Physics Material to the player controller that specifies zero friction.

As far as use of Bolt is concerned, I think your organization in the top-level state graph really simplifies the logic and helps understand what's going on.

As a side note, why did you move away from the aiming curve you show in the gif? I think I liked that more than the final arrow you went with, but I could see it making the game too easy.

Either way, fantastic little game, I hope you keep developing it, congrats :)

  • This is so cute! I love the little frog character and the background art. It's very cool that you can aim your jump and that you can retry from your last safe landing. Good use of state graphs to separate aiming and jumping phases of the player.

  • Fun mechanic with a few bugs that make it more difficult than it should be. The frog can get stuck to the sides of walls which can totally break the game. Otherwise, I really enjoy how this feels.

Joyful music and colors that suits the relaxed feeling of the game. Feels ready to be published on stores with some more levels. Keep up the good work!

Thank you. I already potted the game to mobile - it works even better ;) I think I will be adding more levels after the jam ends.
