This was a cute game i loved the aesthetic of it as well. The animations were smooth and nice to look at. Level 2 was a bit tricky though as mentioned in other comments.

If you get the chance id love it if you could rate my game as well as give me some feedback :).

It was a little too difficult to get past level 2. The cat walking animation was fucking awesome though, I couldn't stop looking at how smooth it was. Even reading how to do it below, I wasn't quite able to finish level 2 and progress. The lives system is great and an awesome use of the Theme, and the color pallette swapping was neat!

I couldn't get past the second level. It's a shame because the mechanic where you had to die to get past the laser in the first level was interesting. Advice: use GPU pixel snap so that the tilemap doesn't flicker when moving.

Thanks for your response!

We were worried the second level was a bit too obtuse lol.  Perhaps we should move the second level around to be level 3 or 4 then? We might also end up re-working the layout to be more obvious too, but that seems like an after jam thing.

anyways if you want to see the rest of the game here is the spoiler solution for level 2, continue onward if you want to get it yourself :D.

Spoiler solution if you want to see the rest of the game: You keep your velocity after you re-spawn on the tuna cans, so the idea is you can die while jumping to snap up to the second platform.

Anyways thanks again for posting ^-^!

I will try to finish it.
