How did you interpret the theme?
Instead of treating the blackout as just a visual setting, i made that as a core gameplay challenge. The player manages limited money and electricity, builds power infrastructure, and keeps houses connected and powered while the village continues to grow. The main idea was: the blackout isn't the problem you solve once , it's the pressure that drives every decision you make.

Good Game!! even though you used free to use assets and music its still a cool game! like the idea of building towers that manage the power and watch out for theth power going down and the tubular bell of death in the game over scared me but its still good tho! absolutely neat game!
Really fun city management game, But I think the wire connecting system can be pretty confusing especially when you have many pylons and generators but still an awesome game
This is a cool management game. I had a lot of difficulty trying to learn what to do at first, but I was able to get good enough of a grasp on it to not die immediately lol. Besides the difficulty I just wish there was a way to disconnect the lines without destroying the pylon, which I did read the other comment about it and totally understand why it is how it is. This is a great game! Good job!
Very fun game! Extremely cool graphics and very strong audio design, but I did have a hard time understanding what to do and struggled to understand what was going on.
Thank you so much for playing and the amazing feedback , i am sorry you struggled understanding the game , hope you had fun.
A game where I get to manage civil infrastructure?! Hell yes. This was a neat little game. I do feel like the music was lovely but didn't quite match the vibe. The controls were also a bit fiddly and I couldn't figure out how to erase placed lines without destroying the pylon, which was a little irritating. Overall, though, I had a great time. Thank you for creating and sharing this!
Heya, Thank you for the feedback , destroying was the hardest part to implement as i couldn't figure out how to implement placed lines demolition i just worked a way around so that if you destroy any building which is connected it would destroy it's lines as well. I am sorry i should have wrote somewhere that you have to demolish the pylon or any other building to demolish the connection ,hope you had fun.
That makes sense! I haven't tried to develop any mechanics like that haha but it makes sense that it would be tricky to implement (since they're probably not their own collision objects?)
I did have fun! :)
yes , they don’t have collision at all , under the hood i have a node class which is inherited by all the buildings , every frame i am just checking if the pointer is looking at node (which is a list ) if it is , spawn the preview line from that node and when you click on other building and if that is node as well “connect” and add that connection to the list.
What an excellent game. I had a hard time figuring out how to get the power lines connected but after that it was very fun.
I really like your music choices. I think background music is very important.
Thanks for the great game and fun!
