I almost missed the other overcooked-inspired entry in the jam! It's down to the wire rating all the entries for me.
I agree with other commenters that discovering what precisely you need to put where is difficult. I started off just throwing a bunch of stuff in the trash. The blender needs some sort of indication that it's full/empty/ready to collect.
It's really confusing to me that I need to run around to the other side of the bar to serve folks. And that I can serve them despite them seemingly having full drinks in front of them. I ran around for a long time behind the bar trying to dispose of their drinks so I could place a fresh one down or something before thinking to go to the other side. And then when I got there, not being able to drop items except onto the bar confused me further.
I wanted to force-feed one of the patrons cherries to check out the side effect, but somehow I got into a state where attempting to deliver the drink would just toss it over behind the bar. Not sure what was going on.
Anyhow, hope that was useful feedback.
Neat little jam version of Overcooked :) Was a bit hard to figure out the controls and the right places to put things so they are placed in the right location, and lack of feedback made it extra hard to understand how to use the mixer. Overall I think it's a cool idea and interesting graphics. I couldn't figure out what the side-effect theme was supposed to come in though.
Interesting idea. I had a lot of trouble giving the drink to the patron that I wanted to.
Thanks for playing! Yeah, the dropping and picking up of items is really janky. I wanted to have them always go to an unoccupied spot, but it's just one of the many bugs still in the submission
I like the idea! I presume each patron has different tolerances to the different ingredients? I found that one of them really loved the triple banana smoothie, but couldn't figure out the others.
Thanks for the feedback! Having them have different tolerances is a great idea, but they are all just clones of each other currently. I'll post the source to github later today if you wanna see how it's "balanced" (spoiler, it's not very well balanced)
