Graphic style is very good
I like the pixel art
The music fits well and the sound effects are a nice touch
Bursting into flames is also very enjoyable when you are about to reach your high score
Falling Lights is simple and has replay value
Overall 7/10
Graphic style is very cool. Caught a yellow diamond thing straight in the face in my first attempt
I think I am easily the best player of this game, no one can even beat this!
Apologies, I accidentally made the field that speaks to justifying your use of the limitation private and there's no way to revert it. Please see the justification for the limitation of this game below:
There are many ONLY ONEs that can be picked up on the fly - only one player, only one axis the player moves on, only one thing killing you and only one level. The noteworthy ONLY ONE would be that we had only one meeting for the project but my favorite is that I restricted myself to picking the two background songs from ONLY ONE album (took longer than developing the entire game).

Fun but simple gameplay - I did feel motivated to play several times in a row, so it works well for what it is. It looks really nice with the theater theme too. It made me laugh when I thought about it and realized the audio is a MIDI version of Godzilla by Blue Oyster Cult; it sounds good and does fit the feel of the game. Made me smile. The sound effects are very solid as well.
The theme was implemented decently well with the spotlight on a stage (taking center-stage) and the dangerous sparks falling. Nothing too central to the gameplay about lighting, but it fit the aesthetic. You may have missed the "Only One" limitation, but the precarity of having one life was a step in that direction.
Fun stuff; build on it!
Music is really nice i was surprised how long it kept going!
Minimal, fun, on theme, repayable, it's got it all!
New high score :)
Goodness gracious, well done!
Music fkn slaps. It's fun and smooth and super easy to pick up. Maybe the sparkles could look a bit more scary and dangerous?
Amazing presentation! The art work is top notch, the music is catchy and the game is simple, yet addictive. Could not get enough
Simple. Clean. Feels snappy and good. High score adds a challenge. Love the art.
Would have loved to see lights fall faster and faster over time or maybe i just didnt get the far xD
The only game experience I have is with minesweeper so I think this high score isn't too shabby for me. Feel free to try and beat it.
I was able to easily beat your score, using time, patience,
and photoshop.
The game is really simple but really fun, honestly a good time.
Did my best :)
