How does your game incorporate the theme?
Glowb is a single player game that incorporates the "lightshow" theme by making use of shadows and "light" to "show" incoming obstacles that the player navigates by swinging from an energy source. Light is also an import motif in the game's aesthetic, texture and UI.

I really enjoyed playing this one
Well the first 10 seconds was VERY confusing. My globe just smashed into the ground and I thought WTF is this :D
Then I felt like SpiderGlowb swinging my way around :P
Great game!
This game is really fun! I like to think my globe's name is Bernadetta and she is swinging her way out of a divorce! Fun. moody, perfect for a creepypasta.
Apologies, I accidentally made the field that speaks to justifying your use of the limitation private and there's no way to revert it. Please see the justification for the limitation of this game below:
A player is provided with ONLY ONE light source which ONLY has ONE life.
By using the SINGLE mechanic aka 'swinging' can a player avoid breaking their light source.
The overall feel of the game aims to provide a feeling of the player being the ONLY ONE in the room
The game ONLY has ONE objective: Just keep swinging.
Very, very fun game mechanics. I like how it's this vaguely Spiderman-esque thing, but totally modified for a 2D environment and a fragile object that you need to protect from collisions. Really, I'm very impressed by it. When I first accidentally attached the bulb to the ground and crashed it, I was pleasantly surprised that this was possible in the game, even though it killed me! Added it to my collection to keep trying at it. Also, I really loved the 3D way the game started with the elevator and the warning.
It looks really nice, if a bit overly simple. The audio was mostly fitting, particularly with the sound effects, but it was all a bit quiet, though I guess that fits it for the most part too.
The implementation of the "Lightshow" theme is great, just because the entire game revolves around keeping your light on - not just like you're holding a flashlight or something, but literally making the player the light, as fragile as a lightbulb is. Not sure if you tried to include the "Only One" limitation, but the fragility of the lightbulb did make the one life you have feel more precious than it usually would in a game.
Great concept, and great execution for the jam.
Super fun once you understand what to do. Simple concept but I was really motivated to play till the end. Great game
I'm swinging with this one
Easily the most replayable.
Wow, this is a very simple game that is surprisingly fun. I love how well the grapple mechanic was implemented here. The atmosphere is great, and the game looks good. Initially I struggled because the input instructions weren't clear enough, I kept clicking on the glowing orb🤦, but I kept at it, and once I figured it out, it was a very enjoyable game.
Couldn’t play this game. Buttons didn’t work. It looks good, though.
Oh no! Which buttons didn't work, may I ask?
It seems the game didn’t fit into my screen. I didn’t see a ‘1’ button (my team mates showed me the working version)
The framerate on my machine is also non-existent, so it may be related. I can’t play our game in browser either.
Ahhh yess, you need to make it full screen or scroll up. Aspect ratio funkyness.
Best game by far 🔥🔥🔥💯
