Wow, this game is complex! Really interesting, but I need to spend a bit more time with it. Awesome!!!!
interesting mechanic and so many content in the span of game jam XD
really impressive XD
I also really like the artstyle of the game XD
Really interesting! I can't believe you were able to cram in multiple opponents, a card shop, deck building, an element system, all in the time span of a game jam. I really really like all the unique card art you were able to make. I love the idea of crafting my own deck but I think alice was maybe too easy of an opponent to really be incentivized to try to craft something stronger then the default one i was given.
I think you have soooooooo much content here, maybe it would have been better to single in on one part or ax something, just for the sake of the jam, otherwise I think this is a really excellent start to something you can (and should) keep working on.
Had fun, well done!
very gudi
Really lovely art!
Could not really figure out the mechanics. Got stuck on the tutorial and had to restart the application.
An in-game tutorial is great, but tricky to pull off in a clear way. Could use some UI highlighting and movement. Also when numbers change during the game.
Some additional illustrated basic instructions on the game page wouldn't hurt either. Explaining the different numbers on the screen.
I'll try to give it another go a day when i have more brain power remaining :)
Really cool and unique set of mechanics — I was definitely intrigued by the gameplay from the start. Unfortunately, I think the game bugged out on me during the elemental part of the tutorial, but I jumped back in and managed to fight Alice. I really loved the character and card designs — they had a lot of style and personality. That said, I think the overall UI and layout could use a bit of cleanup to make things clearer during gameplay. It would’ve also been super helpful to have a menu or a way to quickly reset without needing to close the whole application. Still, there’s a lot of charm and potential here — well done :)
Thank you very much for playing and for the feedback!
After the judging period is done I definitely plan on ironing out the crashes, bugs and aesthetic issues (UI included) the project has so far, I think there's a lot of potential for the core card game system. Adding a quick way to drop battles is up there on the list of things I should've done right away.
Very well thought game design, it's up to you if you want to be ballsy and use few cards or play safe and use extra ones to guarantee the damage, the art style is super charismatic and the music do brings you back to nostalgia of some gameboy/nes titles, I really recommend for the experience and the fun!
