Thankfully the pre-built binary worked, I’m lucky today.
Very good! I’m not the biggest fan of bullet hell games, but this was quite enjoyable. Good tunes and good art.
The screen was very slightly too tall for my screen, it would be nice if it could have been resized.
Thank you for giving it a shot! (no pun intended)
This is sick! A very polished game. I loved the cutscene at the beginning (though it would be awesome to be able to skip in later playthroughs) and the musioc and art is really coherent and stylish.
Agreed about skipping the cutscene! One of the first things I'd change if I work on it again. Thank you for playing!
The game is insanely hard for my brain but looks very very nice
Thank you for playing! There's now a full playthrough video for those that want to see the whole thing but find it too hard.
The playthrough is great, no lives lost as well! Great game
Heads up, the source tarball seems to be missing some important files, like a README or INSTALL and most importantly guix.scm :P
I'mma try cloning your git.
For now all relevant installation instructions are on the game page itself. I didn't want to include guix.scm in the source tarball since it was a development file.
Fun little bullet hell shooter!
Loved how easy it was to get running! Great job with the packaging :)
Thank you for playing!

The game is actually pretty hard, but I like bullet hell games like this one. Controls are alright, though maybe it would be interуsting to have the bee move faster and allow pressing e.g. Shift to slow down like in some other games of this genre. The music is also very fitting, the controls are standard and fit well. Having to watch the intro every time you restart is a bit annoying, but it’s not too long.
I struggled internally with this, but I decided to go with a more traditional shmup approach and not have a slow down feature, and the player speed was adjusted to allow for delicate-ish dodging without feeling too slow. This game is more Ikaruga than Tohou, I guess. If the screen was really filled with bullets like in Touhou games I would have went for it. Totally agreed about the intro being annoying upon replay. One of those quality of life improvements I just couldn't squeeze in. Thank you for playing!
This game meets or exceeds the rules for Autumn Lisp Game Jam 2021. Congrats, and good luck on the voting process and feedback received to better your framework/future games!
