Hey! Excuse my ignorance, this is the first itch.io game jam I’ve participated in. How does the “audience pick” work?

Well this is the first one I've run but the way it *should* work is as soon as the deadline hits you and the other participants should be able to vote 1-5 on a series of criteria I created.
We'll see if that happens lol
