Nope. No changes during judging. Afterward you're free to though.

Awesome concept and execution on this scenario! I love the barricading mini-game and the art for this entry really sells that Night of the Living Dead premise.

after judging ends, 2 months

So technically it’s against the rules to tweak after the deadline, but I know itch had issues today so I’m willing to be lenient. So like I said, if it’s just minor stuff I wouldn’t worry about it

Email me your PDF dankdungeons@gmail.com
We're also figuring out how to let in late submissions so everyone can rate, but for now the PDF will allow the judges too

If its just something minor I would hold off

Yup! Looks like you're in there!

Yeah you should be fine. If we end up needing anything we'll reach out, don't worry!

You are fine to do that BUT I would request you let me take the title back (being able to recycle as many titles as possible is a big help for me). You're free to come up with a new name that suits the work you've already done!

Yeah, that sounds like a reasonable mistake.

Given the volume of participants we try to recycle as many titles as possible each year, so I would rather you didn't use it after the jam. That said, you're free to just keep the content and change the title to something that's your own and publish that!

Remember, you still need to expect to wait 24-48 hours to get a title. That said, I gave you one an hour ago lol

Just check the master list!

I suppose so, as long as its not bigger than the page space constraints. You could also direct judges to the version you would rather have us look at.

haha okay, I’ll give your current title to a new sign up and give you another. But you’ll have to stick with it!

Well I do apologize for the vowel placement lol, I know some of the titles can be a bit awkward. Given that part part of the jam challenge is to work with the prompts, I think I'd like to ask you to stick with it and see what you can make.

Typically we've been doing title changes for cultural issues, but I don't see any with yours. Can you elaborate on your need for a change?

haha yeah sure

Yes, I would encourage voting to follow the rules of the jam. While I admit this isn't exactly enforceable, I believe that most people will approach judging with this attitude and we shouldn't see something that doesn't follow the rules rise to the top of the charts. If that happens we can discuss it as a community.

Hey! I'm so sorry I missed your post! Yes, I can change your title now.

Your title is in the master list, just search your username and you'll find it (or scroll until you see yourself)

no problem, I've changed your title in the master list!

You're on the list. Just check the link at the top of this thread and search for your username!

haha yeah no problem

This is something we were torn about last year. While I agree that cover is a big part of the appeal, we found that the 4 page limit contributed to the creativity of the modules in a big way. This year we considered making it cover plus 4 but then it wouldn't have been as easy to print and play. Also, since this stuff is distributed digitally, the first thing people see is the itch page, which become the equivalent to the store shelf. A lot of participants last year simply created a cover to sit there and it seemed to achieve the effect of selling the old book vibe before the module was even downloaded.

No problem, I've switched it out!

Good question! I think it would be fine if you separated them out from the module. Like having them on the itch page or a separate pdf that can be downloaded.

Your title is up there, just search your username.

It seems like I've been getting this question a lot and its making me worried the list is not loading correctly for everyone.

Great, I found you. Yeah I'll swap you to another one now!

I do not see you on the Master List, did you join with a different account?

Your title is in the list, just search Imaro and you'll see it!

(1 edit)

It looks like I did give a title to dangerswift. So I'll remove them and just transfer that title over to Sceluspress now and you should be all set!

Itch seems to think you joined 2 hours ago (when you made this post).
Did you join and leave and join again today? I don't have any record of you from before so I may have missed you then. But since you're in there now I would expect a title tomorrow morning.

Your title is in the master list, looks like it was put in there shortly after you joined. Just search your username to find it!

As a follow up to this, I see that you have created a project page, but I don't see any game file on it. It doesn't need to be in there until the deadline, but I just wanted to make sure that you didn't fail to upload it by mistake.

Great question!

If your entry is free, then yes! You’re all set!

If you’re charging for it then no, you’ll have to provide free copies to the judges. But we’ll come around asking for those later, so it’s not something you have to worry about right away.

This is so awesome, thank you for offering to do this!

Sure, title updated

Sure, title replaced in the doc

You got it, new title on the list
