Death truly is virtue's last reward.

This game is sick aesthetically and thematically. Unironically love it when the killing game is interrupted by a wiki deep dive, though the ones in this chapter could've been spaced out a bit more.

Thoughts:

Some strong visual storytelling from the get-go, rough graphics with cool perspectives, reminds me a bit of one-punch man.

There are spelling errors almost immediately, shit like that is hard to spot on your own, I have trouble with it as well. Send the script to someone and have them look over it.

While the music is not yours I think you have made some good choices.

The character designs are strong and appealing. I am very much a sucker for some silly names in a serious narrative.

Story seems interesting even in these early stages. Jagr has a cute hat.

The Werner Herzog documentary is actually really fucking good, I will assume you have actually seen it. Roman references, noice, if you like shit like that I would recommend you getting into the old greeks as well, Ovidius in particular, is a favorite of mine. There are collections of his works, the “metamorphosis” one is great. I choose to trust Jagr…

Suggestions:

I am very much biased but I would run with this story and art style and go full rpg-maker with visual novel cutscenes in between exploration and puzzle solving if I was you.

I'd love to have some atmospheric walking sessions in between the dialogs, like you have in your game, but I don't have time for that as of right now... I'll wait for streamers to find spelling errors because my internet friends aren't skilled enough in English to correct me. Thx for the in depth feedback. Ovidius will be checked out.
