It was actually pretty good, felt nice and polished.

The gameplay despite being simple was pretty satisfying

The visuals are also simple but still very charming and juicy.

Overall it was really good for a jam game.

pretty cool and surprisingly polished. it`s domekeeper + pogo + gobling resort. sometimes i had to click the UI buttons because pressing space or enter would not work. probably needs some explanation somewhere of how the score is calculated like a 10X next to the cash or a +1000 next to failing to go back up.

wish i could lean the guy at least twice as fast. perhaps you could add a some sort of indicator of the path you took so you know how to go back up without needing to relly on a `just dig straight down` strategy. seems fuel is balanced to just reach the lava and go back up asap, but then it does not leave much room for sideway plays

A few little problems. Down-drilling into the side of a stalactites repeatedly hurts you which seems odd. It can be easy to fall right into the lava before even seeing it's there if you're unlucky and I must've softlocked the game after falling into the lava by pressing space or some other controls as the menu was popping up, I was left with just a screen of the lava filling it up.

Great jam game. I noticed someone else didn't like the lava in the comments. It's a good way to break what would otherwise be an infinite loop, my only problem with it is it's a "did you keep your Jet fuel? if not, die" check that could've used some jet resources near the lava level.

Reminds me of Miner Disturbance (Funorb, discontinued). The rising lava in that game and the nature by which the lava was triggered made it terrifying.

Using the special feels great. There are many things to keep track of, which I struggle with, but I'm sure it's not a problem for most players. I hate the lava, even though I comprehend we need an antagonist to hate, right?
Fun game, polished and with a great title.

Your UI animations are impressive. The concept is similar to an idea I had and now its gonna look like I stole it from you if I ever made it. Very well polished but the gameplay is still missing something crucial for replayability.

The mechanics are pretty good, lots of juice makes the different actions like drilling, bouncing, bombs feel great. I think this game is really missing a complete game loop, for example if you could easily return and buy upgrades, it could keep the player playing for a long time.

I really think it is cool with the bomb blocks, I wish there wasn't the lava at the end which is dumb. Also if you reach the goal, the game bugs out. It needs a lot of work but is pretty fun and you can go a lot further with it. Make new biomes instead of the lava with maybe enemies.

Cool game. I like the idea that different blocks you get do different things. The presentations is really slick, as I'd expect from you.

Overall, I found the pogo-ing down a hell of a lot more fun than the jetting up. While jetting up, it just mostly felt frustrating to control. The camera whipped around too much, and the steering was really slow. The idea of getting back to the surface for air seems nearly insurmountable, because it is such a nightmare to navigate all that way with the jetpack. Especially when you keep blasting into stalactites. Having to prioritize getting blue gems for more air is way more appealing, in my opinion.

I don't mean to armchair this too much, but the game strongly encourages you to go down. It's even in the name. And then it harshly punishes you for it. The first time I played, I hit the lava and was very confused. I'd honestly consider ditching the jetpack entirely, along with the need to go up at all. It feels so much more natural if the "difficulty" increased as you got deeper and deeper. Like, fewer air gems, more hazardous blocks that take your health, but bigger rewards too. Then the skill being tested is your ability to control the pogo stick. Instead of a jetpack thing, you could hold space to do "super jumps" or something like that.

Anyway, nice work overall. I had fun with the pogo stick and mining combination, it's great. It's just the jetpack stuff I honestly find frustrating.
