Played to completion, only bringing on Gorro. Art and BG/character design is really good, plot is some decent fun in a unique setting. Combat is really sub par, and only having one ability that you spam per character is very limiting. Although some abilities like the tank weapon ammo has to be bought, it's so cheap it's a non issue. I enjoyed the final cinematics, some decent tension.

Looks good so far, has a lot of promise.

Noted with thanks.

As for the limited skill I try to not bombard the player with skills at the beginning/demo of the game, or should I add 1-2  more skills per characters?

Thanks again for playing, much appreciated.

Personally I would like at least two skills per character from the beginning so there's more of a choice given the combat situation. You could also add those skills after the fight with Gorro, so you can at least get new skills before the demo final boss if you go back to the ship ASAP. You could play it off as the party learning a thing or two after fighting with her. If you want skills to only be gained by levels, then fair enough. I imagine the pace of new skills would be fine if I had decided to go to the other two objectives. I only had 3 or 4 random encounter + Gorro fight before the demo final boss, so it's not like I have the experience to say much. Regardless it's still very early on right now, I'm sure it'll be fine however you decide.

By the way, it feels a bit weird that you can skip over possible party members before leaving, I assume that's just for the demo? Unless decisions or the choice of not doing quests is a staple of the game, it seems unnecessary to let the player miss swathes of content like that. I only ended up doing that since I was in a hurry to wrap up for the day. I'll be sure to give it a fair shake next time.

Aye, the game is inspired by Suikoden/Radiata stories  that features large number of recruitable characters(over 100), many of those characters are optional and missable. So yea finding and collecting these companions are my selling point/one of the main focus of the game. Trying to give player cozy adventuring feel is my main focus too.

Hmmm feel weird eh, if more players feel the same way I might make forklift girl's quest required before leaving the map.

very good  as always, this time i did not ended up missing any optional characters and overall it was all great, my only complaints is that the eternal forest its too damn eternal and also a few textboxes have no left padding on them

overall a great game with very important philosophical musings

im still in the mid of a playthrough so i might have more to say tomorrow depending on how much content there is still left

This is the second time I play the demo because I wanted to find the character I skipped last time.

As always your art is really appealing and high quality, and I find some of your character designs really creative. In particular I like those fluffy bat snow things that show up near the end.

I didn't experience any major issues while playing although the player's sprite showing in front of a wall when pressing against it is a bit distracting since that happens a lot in the area with the giants and the secret hideout requires doing just that. I would also prefer if the tank was a little bit faster.

Noted. Madodev  also complain about the movement speed problem, will look into it. Wall thing too.

Thanks for playing!

Played till the end of the demo, got all characters, didn't enter that eternal forest though.

Here's some notes I wrote down while playing.

  • The art, animations, dialogue, and atmosphere are top notch. Well done.
  • Please add a setting to increase text speed, I've seen it in Aura and Treasure Seeker, so it should be possible to add in RPGMaker.
  • I recognize the music and sound effects as default RPGMaker assets, at least change the music it makes the game sound cheap.
  • Please add load to your menu as well.
  • Good questlog, well written quests, and hints. Especially liked the fish hint, wouldn't have found the hidden passage without it.
  • Why did I start the game with only 10HP? I fortunately rested, but would be silly if I died against a random encounter because of that.
  • The animations are extremely nice, but that of course makes it jarring when the enemies don't have any animations.
  • The trigger box to converse with people on the street or objects in the background are too small. Sometimes I have to move around just to interact. This is particularly problematic for background objects that may or may not be interactable.
  • Please tell me how strong skills are exactly, otherwise I have no idea why I should pick one over the other. E.g. vulcan blast vs. laser blast.
  • Swapping around the formation feels somewhat clunky. It would be nice if I could swap during combat. It's a shame that I don't use half of the cast since I forget to switch up my formation.
  • I liked the softcore banana scene, but why not just market this game as porn. Half of the thumbnail consists of tits already, and it would probably help with marketing.
  • Personally, I'm not a fan of back to back combats or long cutscenes before combat. This makes it a chore if I have to redo them (e.g. forgot Yas against the Preta Queen).
  • Did I miss a way to skip dialog and also skip combat animations. For example, the garuda combat took long, but it was just mindlessly selecting the same attacking moves (and sometimes healing), I'd have liked to speed that up.
  • I feel that the movement speed is slow whenever you're not on the top-down world map, even with dash everywhere.
  • Amazing character designs btw. Again, a shame that it isn't NSFW.

Noted. This is all very valuable input, thank you!

For the 10 hp bug, did you unequipped the car armor? vehicles don't have hp growth if you unequipped their armor it will leave them with 10 hp. I will double check.

Thanks again!
