It's a cute game. I really enjoyed your instructive drawings, really charming. I played through the whole thing, and found the secret drawing at the end. I also really liked the bonus stage. It had an obvious difficulty spike, but I really enjoyed that challenge. I think the game would look better as simple drawings, and not necessarily pixelart.
Thanks for playing! I didn't think anyone would find that easter egg, I'm glad you explored a bit to find it.
>I think the game would look better as simple drawings, and not necessarily pixelart. I agree with you, I realized it not too long ago. If I started to dev the game from zero again I would try to use the style in the tutorial or at least adapt it to something easy to animate. Sadly at this point of development moving away from pixel art would be very difficult for a lot of different reasons.
Maybe for a sequel or remaster if this game ever gets succesful enough.
That's fair, I know you got more content finished than what you show in the demo, so it would be a lot of artwork for you to redraw. I do recall you mentioning you are going to start replacing some artworks, so I thought it was the right time to mention that.
Great level design, an intentional slow-ramp up with new mechanics. Love the silly theme, the music, graphics. Had a rad time!! Would love to see more of it!
Played it, didn't complete it, actually, managed to beat it again, it's just one of the final levels threw me off cause it had an extra pathway, which made me think that I need to use it instead of throwing the fairy across the rift. I like how you've improved the look of the game, but I'm afraid the new toad sprite doesn't really fit that well, cause all the other sprites are detailed, while the toad is rather minimalistic. But still, it's better than the old. After I beat it and watched the credits, it's clear that all the art will be in the same style as toads, which is neat, although I will miss the current derpy-looking fairies.
Thanks for playing and the words! I will do my best to retain the fairies' derpyness in the final art. It is something very important for the feel of the game.
Gameplay wise it is very entertaining. A simple easy to understand puzzle game that I can easily imagine will increase in depth. The art needs work, but it is well on its way.
Love this. Super charming top to bottom. Art is great, music is great, puzzles are clever, music and sound effects fit well, tutorial pop-ups are short and sweet. Great game.
Only real problem was that the text did not seem as crisp as the rest of the game when scaled/at fullscreen, slightly hard to read. 3x scale also didn't work for me, just adds big black borders.
the bad news is that window scaling 3x just adds a black border to 2x for me. the good news is that that's my only complaint; the tutorial is helpful without being boring or condescending, and it's impressive how the mechanics make the concept of a real time puzzle game seem natural. overall a very well reasoned game.

Thanks for the kind comment and the video! I found a couple things to adjust for the next demo.

Not much to say that hasn't been said, it's fun, charming, the tutorial is good, only issue really is the text. Otherwise well done.
Thanks for playing! Text and UI is something I will definitely work on for the next DD.

Thanks for playing the game on the stream! It is always fun to watch people giving the game a go online.
I'm in the process to replace all the placeholder assets for final ones. It will take a while.

Thanks, I'm happy you enjoyed the game!
Text in general needs a rework which will come when I get the final UI up. The black borders is something I will look into.

Thanks for giving the game a try! I will look into the window scaling issue, thanks for reporting it.
